Toka's Friends 4th Annual Golf Tournament

Our annual golf tournament is our biggest fund-raising event of the year.  Our mission to support veterans by providing service dogs depends on the generosity of people like you.  We can’t do this without you!  We greatly appreciate your support of this mission and hope you will join us for a fun day of golf, camaraderie, and philanthropy.

As we did last year, we are expecting to run a free golf clinic for veterans prior to the shotgun start.  Partnering with PGA Reach and Allendale Country Club, several teaching PGA Professionals will work with veterans on their golf game from 9:30 to 10:30 that morning. If you are a veteran and would like to participate in the free clinic, please let us know.

 

For those of you who previously played in the golf tournament, we decided to re-structure the pricing of the event this year.  The registration fee includes all the following - you will no longer need to separately purchase tickets for these items. 

 

  • Greens fees and cart

  • Buffet dinner after golf

  • Closet to the pin contest

  • Long drive contest

  • Entry into the Hole-in-one $5,000 cash prize contest

  • Entry into the “Whack-a-duck” contest

  • Entry into the Putting contest

 

The “Hit-The-Green” contest will still require a $10 cash entry fee at the tee box.  If you purchase a ticket and hit the green, your ticket goes into the bucket for a prize drawing at dinner.

 

There will be no 50/50 raffle or raffle baskets this year.  All registered players will receive raffle tickets at the registration desk and there will be tickets drawn at random during dinner for several different prizes.

 

The cost per player is $275 if paid before June 1, and $300 if paid June 1 or later.

Extra dinner tickets may be purchased for $75.

 

As in the past there will be Toka’s Friends merchandise for sale and silent auction items for people to bid on.  We hope you will be generous with your merchandise purchases and bidding on silent auction items as these contribute greatly to our fundraising efforts.

 

***We are looking for donations for our Silent Auction-especially tickets to sporting events, concerts, etc.  If you can help us out, please email katehowd@gmail.com ***
